CVE-2026-67334Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Authentication persistence via omitted session deletion

Published Aug 1, 2026 · Updated Aug 1, 2026

Insufficient session expiration in Better Auth before 1.6.11 allows remote authenticated users to retain access after account deletion. Admin, anonymous, and SCIM deletion paths call deleteUser without first calling deleteSessions, leaving cached session payloads valid. Exposure requires secondaryStorage with storeSessionInDatabase false; an existing token retains its prior read and write access until its TTL expires.
