Uncontrolled resource consumption in Axios 1.13.0 through 1.17.0 allows remote attackers to exceed outbound limits via HTTP/2 streams. The Node.js HTTP adapter passes maxBodyLength to an HTTP/2 API that ignores it and skips its byte-counting wrapper unless maxRedirects is zero. Exploitation requires an attacker-influenced stream, HTTP/2, and a finite limit; it causes excess egress, quota use, or limited service interruption.
