Authenticated file disclosure via unchecked wallpaper path
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Path traversal in ASUSTOR Data Master 4.1.0 through 4.3.3.RUN1 and 5.0.0 through 5.1.3.RI81 allows remote authenticated users to read files. The Wallpaper component uses a user-controlled wallpaper path for file access without sufficiently restricting resolution to its intended directory. High-privilege ADM authentication is required, and disclosure remains bounded by the account's filesystem permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
