Path traversal in ASUSTOR Data Master VPN Clients allows remote authenticated users to write uploaded certificates outside the intended directory. The upload handler uses the user-controlled certificate name to construct the destination path without adequately restricting traversal outside the VPN certificate directory. Successful exploitation requires administrative access and permits writes only where the service process and filesystem permissions allow.
