Denial of service via unbounded pre-authentication state
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Denial of service in RabbitMQ Server's Web-STOMP handler allows remote attackers to exhaust memory through unauthenticated connections. The handler applies neither max_frame_size nor login_timeout before authentication, so a slow stream of small WebSocket frames retains unbounded state. The rabbitmq_web_stomp plugin must be enabled; sustained connections can exhaust broker memory and interrupt messaging.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
