Unauthenticated denial of service via oversized stream frame
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Resource exhaustion in RabbitMQ Server allows remote attackers to interrupt service by declaring an oversized stream-protocol frame. The rabbit_stream_core parser reads the four-byte declared length and buffers frame data without comparing it with the FrameMax saved during Tune. The stream plugin must be enabled; the path is reachable before authentication and can create enough memory pressure to interrupt broker service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=>= 3.13.0, < 3.13.15
