Credential disclosure via unredacted shovel status URIs
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Cleartext credential exposure in affected RabbitMQ Server releases allows remote authenticated users to read AMQP 1.0 shovel URI passwords. The AMQP 1.0 Shovel stores its raw connection URI instead of applying amqp_uri:remove_credentials, and status interfaces return that stored value. Exploitation requires the Shovel plugin, a shovel configured with URI-embedded credentials, and an account with the monitoring tag; exposure is limited to those broker credentials.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
