CVE-2026-67185Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file read via unnormalized URL path

Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026

Path traversal in TinyWeb through 0.0.8 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files by sending literal ../ sequences in URL paths. HttpBuilder::buildResponse() appends the parsed path directly to the web root and passes it to HttpFile::setFile() without normalization or a root-boundary check. No authentication or user interaction is required; one request exposes any file readable by the server process, including secrets when it runs as root.
