Internal network access via search request forgery
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Server-side request forgery in HCL BigFix Service Management V23 allows remote attackers to reach internal systems through search. The search functionality uses attacker-controlled input to direct application-server requests to destinations that the internet cannot reach. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exploitation can expose internal data or cause limited modification without interrupting service.
