Subscriber-level API key overwrite via unchecked settings save
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Missing authorization in CoderPress Coinbase Business for Contact Form 7 1.1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to overwrite its API key. The save_settings() handler on admin_post_cccf7_save_settings accepts cccf7_api_key from a POST request and writes it without a capability check or nonce verification. A Subscriber account is sufficient, and the resulting option change replaces the credential used for the Coinbase Commerce integration.
