CVE-2026-66760Network attack vector

Trusted-component impersonation via weak certificate matching

Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026

Certificate validation failure in SAP Business AI Platform (Approuter) before 23.0.0 allows attackers to impersonate trusted internal components. In affected callback flows, Approuter accepts a client certificate from the same trusted authority when its subject values match without establishing the holder's intended component identity. Exploitation requires low privileges and possession of such a certificate; successful impersonation compromises processed-data integrity and permits limited disclosure or service interruption.
