Unauthorized remote actions via unauthenticated proxy requests
Published Jul 29, 2026 · Updated Jul 29, 2026
Missing authorization in CERT Polska MWDB Core 2.2.0 through 2.18.0 allows remote attackers to issue proxied API requests. RemoteAPIResource accepts unauthenticated incoming requests and forwards them with the identity and permissions of the configured Remote Instance API key. Exploitation requires Remote Instances to be configured and grants the remote account's ability to read or alter data, without an availability impact.
