Administrator-context script execution via JavaScript string breakout
Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
Reflected XSS in Rank Math SEO 1.0.274.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser via a crafted URL. The inline_scripts method in the redirection debugger writes redirect_to into a single-quoted JavaScript assignment after URL sanitization but without JavaScript-context encoding. The Debug Redirections option must be enabled and an authenticated administrator must open the crafted URL, after which the script acts with that browser session's site privileges.
