Unauthenticated cache-file modification via path traversal
Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
Path traversal in BoldGrid W3 Total Cache 2.10.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter cache files via unauthenticated requests. Minify cache-file operations fail to keep attacker-influenced paths within the designated cache directory, although the public record names no parameter. No authentication or user interaction is required; the published assessment limits the consequence to low-impact modification and service disruption, with no data disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
