Administrator access via auto-login flaw
Published Aug 20, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Privilege escalation in Tyche Softwares Abandoned Cart Pro for WooCommerce 10.4.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to gain admin access. Tyche states that the abandoned cart recovery auto-login functionality contained a critical security flaw, and the 10.4.1 release also added missing capability checks and nonce verification in AJAX handlers. Internet-exposed stores using the vulnerable plugin are the relevant exposure case for the auto-login issue, with site takeover risk if the flaw is successfully reached.
