CVE-2026-66643Network attack vector

Browser script execution via contributor XSS

Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026

Cross-site scripting in Wufoo Shortcode 1.55 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in a victim's browser. Patchstack has not disclosed the vulnerable shortcode field, parameter, or rendering sink; the public record only establishes that contributor-controlled input is not safely neutralized before output. Contributor-level access and user interaction are required, so exposure depends on whether untrusted contributors can publish content that higher-privileged users or visitors load.
