Contributor stored XSS
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
Stored XSS in David Artiss Draft List before 2.6.5 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a victim browser. Patchstack states that Contributor privileges and user interaction are required, but the public CNA, NVD, and vendor changelog do not disclose the input field, rendering sink, or code path that stores and later emits attacker-controlled content without neutralization. Reachability therefore depends on low-privilege WordPress access and a victim viewing affected plugin output, and the public record does not substantiate impact beyond script execution in the site origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=n/a <=2.6.4 changes=[{"at":"2.6.5","status":"unaffected"}]
