Authenticated code execution via unneutralized template evaluation
Published Apr 20, 2026 · Updated Apr 20, 2026
Eval injection in YOOtheme Pagekit 1.0.0 through 1.0.18 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code via stored templates. The StringStorage template handler passes attacker-controlled template text to PhpEngine::evaluate, which evaluates it as PHP without neutralizing code directives. High privileges and network access are required; successful injection executes in the CMS server process and can read, alter, or interrupt application resources.
