CVE-2026-66492Network attack vector

Arbitrary file placement via upload path traversal

Published Aug 7, 2026 · Updated Aug 7, 2026

Path traversal in Phoca Commander 1.0.0 through 6.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to place uploaded files outside the intended directory. The file-upload action does not limit the supplied destination path to the authorized file-management root, allowing traversal segments to redirect placement. High privileges in the Joomla administration interface are required, and Phoca has not published the affected function or complete validation failure.
