Authenticated file read via getSource path traversal
Published Aug 7, 2026 · Updated Aug 7, 2026
Path traversal in Phoca Commander 1.0.0 through 6.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The getSource function accepts a file path without limiting resolution to the intended directory, then reads the referenced file. Joomla administrative privileges are required; exposure is limited to files readable by the web server account.
