Stored browser script execution via unescaped content
Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in ShapedPlugin LLC Location Weather 3.0.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject browser scripts. The plugin accepts contributor-supplied page content without sufficient input sanitization and renders it without adequate output escaping, preserving attacker-controlled script markup. Contributor-level access is required, and exploitation occurs when another user accesses the crafted page, executing the stored script in that user's web session.
