Post-login phishing redirect via unchecked redirectUrl
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Open redirect in Leantime 3.6.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to send authenticated users to external sites after login. Login::post() sends the user-controlled redirectUrl value to the redirect response after URL sanitization without enforcing the Leantime origin. A victim must follow the crafted login link and successfully authenticate; the off-site navigation enables phishing or credential theft but cannot modify Leantime data.
