Root credential disclosure via weak password
Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Weak root credentials in ECOVACS DEEBOT PRO M1 before M1-1.7.27 and K1VAC before V1.7.821 allow attackers to obtain root passwords. The devices configure their root accounts with passwords weak enough to be analyzed after malicious physical manipulation; public advisories do not identify the storage locus or derivation method. Exploitation requires physical access to the robot and exposes the root credential, which permits entry into the robot system.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
