CVE-2026-6634Network attack vector

Authenticated instance-setting changes via undisclosed authorization flaw

Published Apr 20, 2026 · Updated Apr 20, 2026

Improper authorization in Memos 0.22.0 and 0.22.1 allows remote authenticated users to alter instance style and script settings. The record attributes the flaw to UpdateInstanceSetting and the additionalStyle and additionalScript fields, but does not disclose the missing authorization check or how memos_access_token in src/App.tsx reaches that operation. A low-privileged account and network access are required; public evidence establishes unauthorized instance-setting changes but no more specific consequence.
