Authenticated browser script execution via unescaped account field
Published Apr 20, 2026 · Updated Apr 20, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in YiFang CMS 2.0.0 through 2.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in another user's browser. The store method in plugins/yifang_backend_account/logic/admin/L_rbac_admin.php validates only that the account field is present and stores it without HTML escaping. Exploitation requires an authenticated account and a victim to open the permission-management user list, where the stored payload executes and can alter page content in the victim's session.
