CVE-2026-6620Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated arbitrary file write via type traversal

Published Apr 20, 2026 · Updated Apr 20, 2026

Path traversal in SonicCloudOrg sonic-server 2.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write files outside upload directories. The /upload and /upload/v2 handlers pass the type parameter to FileTool.upload, which concatenates it into a filesystem path before mkdirs() and transferTo() create directories and save the file. Any authenticated account with upload permission can place chosen content wherever the folder service can write, enabling file overwrite or web-shell placement in writable web roots.
