Node crash via zero-width array32 allocation
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Resource exhaustion in RabbitMQ Server 3.13.0 through 3.13.14 allows remote attackers to crash a node with a crafted AMQP 1.0 frame. The same flaw affects 4.0.0 through 4.0.19, 4.1.0 through 4.1.10, and 4.2.0 through 4.2.5: parse_array_primitive/2 assigns list0 elements zero width, so array32 repeats the declared count without consuming input. Network access to the default AMQP listener is sufficient without authentication; a 19-byte frame declaring 4,294,967,295 empty elements exhausts the Erlang VM heap and interrupts every protocol and tenant on the node.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
