Credential disclosure via full Shovel state logging
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Information disclosure in RabbitMQ Server allows local users with broker-log access to read Shovel URI credentials after autodeletion. When an autodelete Shovel completes, rabbit_shovel_behaviour logs the entire state map at DEBUG level after deobfuscated_uris places plaintext URIs in its uris field. Exposure requires the Shovel plugin, URI-embedded credentials, non-default DEBUG logging, an autodelete Shovel, and access to broker logs.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=>= 3.13.0, < 3.13.15
- Affected versionversion=>= 4.0.0, < 4.0.20
