CVE-2026-66064Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated file disclosure via trailing-slash path mismatch

Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026

Path-equivalence authorization bypass in Patrick Hener goshs before 2.1.5 allows remote attackers to read blocked files via HTTP. The httpserver/handler.go sendFile handler opens a filepath.Clean-normalized path but checks the final raw URL segment, which a trailing slash makes empty. Block-only .goshs ACLs are exposed without authentication, including the ACL file and any stored bcrypt password hash; authenticated directories remain protected.
