Unauthenticated SSRF via unvalidated audio URLs
Published Apr 20, 2026 · Updated Apr 20, 2026
SSRF in ModelScope AgentScope 1.0.18 and earlier allows remote attackers to make the host fetch attacker-selected URLs through audio blocks. The _process_audio_block method passes the audio source URL directly to urllib.request.urlopen without validating its scheme, host, or destination. Exploitation requires an application path that lets untrusted input reach an audio block; successful requests can reach network resources available to the AgentScope host.
