Unauthenticated SSRF via unrestricted URL fetching
Published Apr 20, 2026 · Updated Apr 20, 2026
SSRF in AgentScope 1.0.0 through 1.0.18 allows remote attackers to make its internal service request attacker-chosen URLs. The _get_bytes_from_web_url function passes its url argument directly to requests.get without validating the scheme, destination, or resolved address. Unauthenticated remote reachability is sufficient, and returned response bodies expose data from network services reachable by the AgentScope host.
