Document disclosure via stale notification authorization
Published Aug 7, 2026 · Updated Aug 7, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Frappe Framework before 16.23.0 and 15.112.0 allows remote authenticated users to receive revoked document data. Document Follow notification generation uses stored follow records without rechecking each recipient's current read permission before building email content. Exploitation requires an existing follow created while access was permitted, followed by revoked or reduced access and a later notification event.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
