Account takeover and SSRF via public SSO routes
Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026
Missing authentication in KubePi 1.6.15 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter global SSO settings through public API routes. The public /kubepi/api/v1/sso route registers configuration read, create, update, and connectivity-test handlers before session middleware, so administrative operations lack an administrator check. No account is required; exposed settings support authentication takeover or privilege escalation, while the connectivity test permits server-side requests and user listings disclose authentication fields.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
