Incorrect file permissions in Progress WhatsUp Gold before 26.0.2 allow remote authenticated users to write arbitrary web-accessible files. Progress has not disclosed the affected file-system locus or the operation that assigns excessive permissions to attacker-chosen files. Exploitation requires high privileges and adjacent-network access; a successful write can alter hosted content and place files exposed by IIS.
