Mutation XSS in Cure53 DOMPurify before 3.3.2 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through re-contextualized sanitized HTML. DOMPurify preserves raw-text closing sequences inside sanitized attribute text, and an application's later innerHTML parse inside a special wrapper closes that context and restores event-handler markup. Exploitation requires a consuming application to concatenate sanitized output into script, xmp, iframe, noembed, noframes, or noscript markup and a user to render it.
