Prototype pollution in Cure53 DOMPurify before 3.3.2 allows remote attackers to trigger DOM-based XSS through sanitized markup. With USE_PROFILES enabled, ALLOWED_ATTR is rebuilt as a plain array, and attribute checks treat inherited Array.prototype properties as allowlisted. Exploitation requires a polluted Array.prototype and rendering of the sanitized markup, which executes retained event handlers in a user's browser.
