Unauthenticated account takeover via socialLogin
Published Jul 29, 2026 · Updated Jul 29, 2026
Authentication bypass in Balbooa Gridbox 1.0.0 through 2.20.1 allows remote attackers to take over any site account via socialLogin. Published sources identify socialLogin as the faulty locus and state that it logs an actor in as any chosen user, but withhold endpoint and parameter details. No account or user interaction is required, so an internet-reachable site can yield an administrator session when an administrator is selected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
