Unauthenticated code execution via signature-field processing
Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026
Code injection in Balbooa Forms 2.4.2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through a submitted Signature field. The form-processing component improperly handles structured, user-supplied Signature data because decoding is not explicitly controlled server-side and validation is insufficient. No authentication is required, but only a form containing a Signature field exposes the path; execution occurs in the Joomla site's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
