Authenticated arbitrary file deletion via path traversal
Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026
Path traversal in JoomShaper SP Page Builder 1.0.0 through 6.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary web-root files. The media.php delete action passes a request-supplied path to file removal after only cosmetic filtering, without the boundary guard used by sibling delete paths. A low-privilege author with page-creation permission can remove configuration.php or .htaccess, interrupting the site or weakening defenses.
