Arbitrary file write via unneutralized project pathnames
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Path traversal in MPXJ 7.3.0 through 16.4.1 allows attackers to write files outside intended directories through crafted PRX or STX files. The Primavera P3 PRX and SureTrak STX readers use pathnames from untrusted project files without neutralizing elements that escape the intended directory. Exploitation requires an application to process an attacker-supplied PRX or STX file, and writes remain limited by the hosting process's filesystem permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
