Service outage via unbounded ZIP extraction
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Denial of service in Docmost 0.21.0 and later before 0.95.0 allows remote authenticated users to exhaust disk via page import. The ZIP extractor writes entries to temporary storage without limiting total expansion, entry size, or entry count, and automatically expands one nested ZIP. A workspace member needs space edit rights; a crafted archive under the default 200 MB upload limit can expand by gigabytes, crash the import worker, and disrupt the instance for all tenants.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
