Privilege escalation via authenticated SSRF
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Server-side request forgery in Microsoft Exchange Server allows remote authenticated users to elevate privileges over a network. Microsoft has disclosed the flaw only as SSRF and has not published the affected handler, request flow, or trusted target that performs the server-side fetch on attacker-influenced input. Reachability requires valid Exchange credentials on supported on-premises releases before 15.01.2507.072, 15.02.1544.044, 15.02.1748.049, or 15.02.2562.046, and public sources describe privilege gain but no broader integrity or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Published CVSS scores
CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
