Administrator browser script execution via unescaped onclick values
Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026
Reflected XSS in Phoca Commander 5.0.0 through 6.1.1 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The createLoadFilesFunction method concatenates request-derived panel, folder, ordering, and direction values into JavaScript placed in onclick attributes without JavaScript or HTML escaping. Exploitation requires a targeted administrator to open a crafted request; injected script runs in that administrator's Joomla origin.
