Cross-vault account manipulation via missing ACL checks
Published Jul 24, 2026 · Updated Jul 24, 2026
Missing object-level authorization in sysPass 3.2.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter any vault account. AccountController resolves attacker-supplied account IDs for view, edit, delete, and editPass operations without applying AccountFilterUser or an account ACL. A token with the relevant API action is sufficient to read metadata, overwrite passwords, modify records, or delete accounts outside its assigned scope.
