Authenticated attachment access via unchecked object identifiers
Published Jul 24, 2026 · Updated Jul 24, 2026
Object-level authorization bypass in nuxsmin sysPass 3.2.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read or alter account attachments. AccountFileController resolves user-supplied numeric account or file identifiers and performs list, view, download, upload, or delete operations without checking the parent account ACL. A basic authenticated session is sufficient; state-changing requests also require a valid CSRF token, and the bounded impact is unauthorized attachment disclosure, addition, or deletion.
