CVE-2026-65697Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Account takeover via stored JavaScript URI

Published Jul 23, 2026 · Updated Jul 23, 2026

Stored XSS in Fathom Lite 1.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in an operator's browser via pageview data. The public /collect endpoint stores scheme-unchecked hostname and newline-bearing pathname values that the Top Pages table concatenates into an unsanitized anchor href. Exploitation requires the public site ID and an authenticated operator to click the poisoned row, after which the script runs in the dashboard origin and can control the analytics account.
