Authenticated command execution via crafted upload filename
Published Jul 23, 2026 · Updated Jul 23, 2026
Path traversal in Bold Reports Standalone Report Designer 6.3 through 14.1.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The DataHub file-upload handler accepts a crafted filename without validating that its resolved path remains inside the intended upload directory. Access to the upload function and a DataHub-enabled affected version are required; successful exploitation runs arbitrary commands with high server privileges.
