Unauthenticated file read via unvalidated SVG path
Published Jul 23, 2026 · Updated Jul 23, 2026
Path traversal in Bold Reports Standalone Report Designer 6.3 through 14.1.11 allows remote attackers to read server files via SVG input. The DataHub module's SVG processing accepts a supplied file path without restricting it to an intended directory, allowing traversal to arbitrary filesystem locations. No authentication or user interaction is required; exposed requests can disclose sensitive files, including credentials that grant application access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
