CVE-2026-65655Network attack vector

OAuth credential disclosure via proxy-derived cookie security

Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026

CWE-614 in Temporal UI Server 2.7.0 through 2.53.1 allows remote attackers to obtain OAuth credentials via plaintext cookie exposure. In SetUser and related cookie helpers, c.Request().TLS controls Secure, so a TLS-terminating proxy's HTTP hop suppresses the flag. Exploitation requires a live victim credential, attacker-controlled content, traffic steering for the UI hostname, an HTTP fallback, and access to a later same-site plaintext request.
