Service interruption via unbounded inbound membership labels
Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
Resource exhaustion in Temporal Technologies ringpop-go before 0.0.0-20260724173031-c317effcdc8b allows remote attackers to interrupt hosting processes. The SWIM member-list update path accepts peer-supplied label maps without applying configured key-size, value-size, or count limits, then retains and re-gossips them. The attacker needs network access to a live Ringpop TChannel listener; repeated changes for distinct member addresses can exhaust memory and gossip bandwidth until the host process becomes unavailable.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
